Communication Officer

Hey, I'm Sam. I'm the Communications Officer here at York College. I take care of publicity and general communications for the Student Union, Putting up posters and spreading info about our own events and also putting up posters for other peoples events, so if you have something going on and you have posters, just bring them to the SU office just inside Lounge on 1 and if we have space, I'll try and put them up. I also talk to members of staff, and try to get your views as students across to them so they can take them into account when trying to make the college as friendly, supportive and a great place for everyone.

Next year (09/10) I aim to get the college newspaper started and going, if anybody is interested please contact me on SU_Comms@ycc.ac.uk

I have just finished studying Music, Music Tech, Media Studies and ICT at AS Level and am going onto do Media Studies and ICT at A2 as well as Computing at AS.

Some of my hobbies include, Airsoft, Cycling, Walking, Video Games and Computing.
